D Custom, a national content marketing agency based in the heart of downtown Dallas’ arts district, is seeing substantial growth in its business from multichannel content marketing programs through the mastery of emerging content technologies, sales enablement and transmedia storytelling.
Business at D Custom has seen a 35% growth year-over-year from solid performance that has created expanded business from current clients such as Insigniam, an international management consulting firm, HP, and Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Company. New programs include the Dallas Regional Chamber’s economic development campaign, multiple content marketing programs for airline technology solutions company GuestLogix and SwiftAir, an inflight travel guide provider, an executive video series for Southern Methodist University (SMU) and digital content strategy for KDC, a national build-to-suit commercial real estate developer.
“Staying true to our strengths of content marketing execution and content strategy with white-glove service is proving to be a powerful mix,” says Gordon Price Locke, president of D Custom. “We have an intellectually curious business culture—always testing and applying the latest practices,” added Locke.
Research shows that content marketing accounts for three times the sales leads per dollar than traditional marketing and advertising. Digital content examples lead the charge, such as websites that feature excellent storytelling, thought-provoking blogs, evolving social media to a content channel versus a mechanical tactic, engaging online magazines and custom video. D Custom’s business has diversified beyond award-winning brand journalism. Digital channel asset creation and execution is about 60% of the business mix, while 40% encompasses a unique approach to conducting content strategies and implementation for major brands.
