Spending her formative years residing in locations such as China, Venezuela, Thailand, and the U.K., a good way to describe Director of Digital Media Strategy Kate Crouse is well-rounded. Her adventurous approach is evident in not only her frequent travels, but also her digital marketing experience — in her nine years in the industry, Kate has gained leadership skills in sales, account service, marketing, and brand planning. After getting her start as a sales executive at OGRE Systems, she made the transition right here to D Custom in account service. In recent years, she’s brought her expertise to D Magazine Partners, where she dove into the minds of consumers to reach the audiences at D Magazine, D Home, D CEO, and D Weddings as brand manager. The role required Kate to build and execute on digital media strategies for not only the 40-year-old D brand, but also new products, including high-impact programs like Dallas’ annual Best of Big D guide and event. Kate also developed D Magazine’s first true social media strategy, which increased web traffic and made D Magazine’s Instagram one of the most successful in the city regional magazine sphere. Back at D Custom, she’s found a home where her passion for innovation enables our wide range of clients to connect with their audiences and keep a competitive edge in the digital space.
