Account Coordinator

D Custom is hiring an Account Coordinator to manage projects across the agency. The role will be client-facing and will manage defined projects for smaller accounts with oversight of senior account services team members. The Account Coordinator will also serve as project traffic manager for the agency. Traffic responsibilities include setting up schedules and timelines in our project management system, ongoing schedule maintenance and ensuring projects are completed on time.

Responsibilities:

Account Services:

  • Responsible for managing projects for assigned clients, including timelines and task list
  • Communicates the client’s goals and represents the client’s interests to the team.
  • Conducts project kickoff calls; provides regular two-way communication to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
  • Manages all client communications and adherence to client deliverables according to the scope of work.
  • Reviews deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Works closely with the project team to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.

Traffic:

  • Become an expert in agency’s project management system
  • Gather project information and determine requirements for successful project completion
  • Set up approved projects in project management system, including budget estimates with costs and hours with input from all relevant team members
  • Develop cost estimates for new business proposals with relevant team members and ensure these estimates are accurately recorded in project management system.
  • Monitor projects daily and follow up with team members when schedules are behind or may become delayed; ensure smooth and efficient workflow
  • Deliver regular updates and communicate upcoming deadlines to team

Requirements:

  • Tactical project management expertise and a high capacity for multi-tasking
  • Ability to develop a strong rapport with designated client contact
  • Extremely detail oriented, self-starter, goal oriented, persistent and a problem solver
  • High level of initiative and proactivity and works well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum 1-2 years of agency experience with account/project management experience
  • Digital marketing and/ or content marketing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Workamajig project management system preferred
