The business of a business school relies on a strong brand. So when Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business asked us to improve theirs, we were eager to get to work. After all, competing with higher education institutions and business programs around the world is a tall order. SMU Cox School of Business needed to position itself as the premier choice for prospective students, a global leader in developing innovative programs and resources, and a network of successful alumni who are equipped to handle global business challenges.
Our initial strategy investigation revealed an opportunity to develop an editorial program that would promote SMU Cox School of Business faculty, students, and alumni as thought leaders driving innovation and transforming their industries. We designed and produced the CoxToday magazine, filled with strategic content, including cover stories and secondary features that highlighted the success of alumni in the workforce as well as the unmatched opportunities available as part of the “Cox experience.”
