What We Delivered

The Challenge

As the membership had grown and changed, the organization needed to adapt accordingly in order to better serve its mission of building and maintaining connections between alumni and the school.

Our Solution

We gave the organization’s official publication, Texas Aggie, a facelift — something fresh and compelling that would welcome in new generations of Aggie alums while maintaining the tried-and-true traditions beloved by so many. Our total redesign was strategic, brand-driven, and uniquely formatted to fit their content needs. The publication instills a sense of Aggie pride through traditional Aggie colors and real-life stories and opportunities for and from Association members, all serving the overarching goal of honoring and strengthening university ties.

The Results

We continue to make strategic recommendations, implement new best practices in UX and design, and make adjustments to enhance our deliverables to the Association, always thinking ahead to make a magazine that bridges the gap between Aggie alumni new and old. This strong partnership has made the Association D Custom’s longest-enduring client.

Testimonials

“We’ve been collaborating with D Custom since 2002 on the production and distribution ofTexas Aggie magazine: 6 issues a year averaging 55,000 copies and 112 pages, full-color and perfect-bound. From the beginning, what has made this partnership successful is that they put in the time and effort to really understand us. They understand how we work, they understand our priorities, and they understand our expectations. That understanding has allowed us to build a relationship on a foundation of trust and shared goals.”
