D Custom Welcomes Director of Digital Media Strategy Kate Crouse

The D Custom team welcomes Kate Crouse as our new director of digital media strategy. 

Kate has long been a member of the D family. Before transitioning to her previous role as brand manager for D Magazine Partners, she cut her teeth here at D Custom, where she worked as both a project manager and an account service manager.

As brand manager for D Magazine Partners, Kate has spent the past several years handling brand and social strategy for D Magazine, D Home, D CEO, and D Weddings. During that time, she developed D Magazine’s first true social media strategy, which included building their Instagram to become one of the most successful in the city regional magazine sphere. Kate also managed all marketing and promotion plans for the company’s consumer products and programs as well as all media sponsorship and trade relationships with local nonprofits and businesses.

Under Kate’s oversight, D Magazine was nominated for Min’s 2016 Magazine Media Award for Best Use of Social Media alongside Cosmopolitan.com, Delish, and Seventeen.com. 

Her nine years of industry experience, including time as a sales executive at OGRE Systems, have equipped Kate with expertise in digital communication and account-based marketing. Now that she’s returning to D Custom, she aims to bolster the potential of the compelling content D Custom publishes for leading B2B and B2C client brands.

Kate received a bachelor’s degree in public relations, advertising, and applied communication from Texas Tech University. She has lived in Dallas for the past five years.
